Institut Pertanian Bogor (IPB) – Bogor West Java
Introduction
Institut Pertanian Bogor is an institution of higher learning located in Bogor, which is a city in West Java province. It was established on 1 September 1963.
Students of Veterinary degree will be awarded Bachelor of Veterinary Medicine. And they will go through PS Pendidikan Profesi Dokter Hewan program to gain the qualification of Veterinary Doctor. Studying Veterinary in Institut Pertanian Bogor (IPB) is based on competency and several methods including Student Centered Learning dan Problem-Based Learning.
The curriculum for Veterinary Undergraduate Study Program and Veterinary Professional Education Study Program is prepared based on (1) the Indonesian National Qualifications Framework (KKNI), (2) the Indonesian National Work Competency Standards (SKKNI), (3) the OIE Day 1 Graduate Competency from the World Animal Health Organization (the World Organization for Animal Health, WOAH), (4) the needs and input from stakeholders, and (5) the vision and mission of IPB University.
The curriculum for Bachelor of Veterinary Medicine is implemented in 4 years (8 semesters) with a total of 158 credits.
